A cheap price is not always the way to win customers.
An Asian market on the cusp of victory
Many analysts predict that in the next one hundred years, India and China will be the leaders of the world. Europe has peaked and they are too spoilt to produce competitive products. America is having a crisis of confidence and insular attitudes. Africa seems to be getting into even more problems than the colonial period. That leaves Asia as the next big thing. This success is conditional on them fulfilling the promise of high quality but cheap products. If they fail on any of these dual objectives, then a new kid of the block will take their place.
